Under the title "LPI Learning Materials", the Linux Professional Institute produces a series of publications in preparation for its certifications.

The Learning Materials are aimed primarily at teachers and students and are ideal for use in teaching.

In a first step, we prepare Learning Materials for the following exams:

Author information

We are looking for experienced trainers and authors to help us create the Learning Materials

Prerequisites
  • You have passed the exam for which you are writing Learning Materials yourself or have a comparable qualification.
  • As a teacher or trainer, you have didactic experience in teaching the content you are working on.
  • You will write in English.
General process
  1. You first select an objective (with one to three Lessons) for editing, if it is not already assigned.
  2. We will give you access to a Git repository in which all necessary directories and files are prepared. A Writing Style Guide will help you work with the AsciiDoc files.
  3. After editing, a review process is carried out by LPI. If necessary, you will be asked to incorporate its results into your texts.
  4. After final acceptance, you can send LPI an invoice per completed lesson in accordance with the contract. Should you then have time and interest in further cooperation, we will be happy to clarify with you which objectives are still outstanding for writing.

We will be happy to provide you with advice and practical support throughout the entire work process in order to clarify questions quickly and thus avoid time-consuming revision.

Contact us without obligation - we look forward to receiving your inquiry!
